Amanda Brown interior designer

An alum of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, Amanda grew up with a passion for historic architecture and the story old structures have to share.  After time in Atlanta working in the new construction field, she moved to Charleston to pursue her dream of becoming involved in the historic preservation and adaptive reuse fields.  Amanda is currently a Master of Science in Historic Preservation candidate through the joint Clemson University - College of Charleston Graduate Program in Historic Preservation.  She is inspired by the contrast of old and contemporary, with a love for traditional elements.  She is enthralled by communities where the historic buildings are cherished and repurposed, not forgotten to new growth.  Amanda aims to become more involved with sustainable renovations and green design.
